|
|
I have a Porsche 356 engine No. P-03186. I know it is a idustrial engine and I'm thinking to put it on my 55 vw panel making some modifications to the valves, camshafts and buying the missing parts.
Who can guide me about it or what will be the price to sell it?
Thanks ..
Felipe

Most valuable types are the 616/33-1 as they are basically street engines already.
The last one I bought in Europe was for sale at 1100€, that's 1500US$.
But I got a good deal on it. |

This 616/13 is in pretty rough shape.
You should remove the heads to see how it is Inside.
But with the carburator, Dizzy and oïl filler removed, there is much to bet that moisture and dust have made their way Inside the engine.
Be very caytious before you start it. |

Yes, it looks shabby, so I have to open the entire engine to make a general cleaning and check each of the pieces. _________________ 1953 w26 SC (To Restore) x Sale
