e-brake adjust cover and adjustable front beam...

Has anyone got a better solution than cutting the e-brake cover when fitting an adjustable beam to a pre-55 car?

You use the Avis adjusters instead.

I have before. You have to get them in just the right spot to clear the cover but it will work.
