Saturday I am going to take my off road tires off they ride to ruff and the fonts aren't even d.o.t. legal..
I have a few concerns!
1. How wide can my back tire be safely to fit a 5 lugs jeep style rime on the back ?
2. Could I go a bit bigger in the front? I don't want to risk breaking any steering components but I kind of want to achieve the "bulldogged" look . I don't necessarily want to go wider in the front but taller .

It will be a nicer ride/noise street car without the mud & snows! It might be hard to find street tread that are 34" tall? They make grooved 34-35" drag slicks?

Put some big metric radials on it. Try searching Summit Racing.

I am thinking of a 290/50 r15.
That is similar to what guys put on there t - buckets and hot rod trucks. Not crazy wide but noticeably wide.
Just don't know if they will work on the rear rims I have and or fit without rubbing inner well. Amazingly there aren't very many pics I can find with baja s running slick wide tires.

Also slicks suck in the rain. Try drag radials. Nitro or Hoosier even Mickey have some cool street patterns
