I feel very fortunate to have recently found this bus. It has 24,682 og miles. It has a long story that will take me a while to describe. Yes, it has been repainted (unfortunately) but there is a good reason as to why.
Here are some pictures I took when I first saw it in person. Interior paint and upholstery is all original except for the headliner.

This is the first test drive in Fargo North Dakota. I did not want to drive it on the road due to salt and at this point I did not care about the mechanical condition.

If you bought it from Ex-cape Ex-state you might want to check the engine number. |

The quote from the the other thread below sounds like you should contact "VWWOODY" to get that lower panel!

I took the front seats and kick panels out to inspect and clean things up.
The seats are in great condition, I am amazed at the lack of surface rust on the springs/frame work.

I saw your other photos in the Gallery this AM, an amazing bus. That Mango paint is beautiful. |

Crazy nice bus! Although I think you should replace the chrome emblem with a mango one. _________________ -Adam

Checked the battery area, found the battery loose, unstrapped due to the size. I was happy to find only surface rust under the battery.
