Man those are sexy! So happy to have a good guy like Burley to give my money to for parts like that! Only wish I had more to give. What bushings are ya going to go with?
I went with his urethanes and, to be honest they are a bit firm. Rubber replacements, being the shite that they are, may be a poor option as well. Thoughts?

Hi Neil,
I got the Burley urethane bushing and I am not sure about the firmness because I think they are only pivot points. Burley made my spring adjustable and that suppose to make the ride quality more adjustable to my personal preference.

Thanks the avatar is in memory of Dave "oderous urungus" Brockie. I grew up in VA and they were a big part of the scene in Richmond and VA Beach. Cool guy. Never sold out. |

How sweet it is
Your setup is even Burley'er than mine.
I can see a few stops that have been beefed up on the perch, awesome.
I have many miles on the same minus the pinch weld removal and reinforcement.
Adjustability is key for a superior ride.
Curious to know what shocks you are using.
Love the RED btw
Beautiful work Burl.
So glad to see more progression.
Keep up the good work. |

Yes they are "only" pivot points but the original rubber pivot point bushing seemed to take more of the shock out of the connection than the urethane ones do.
The adjusters may have a small effect on road harshness, but I doubt it. I believe they are more for ride height adjustment.
What I love about the springs he provided is they aren't progressive, and u like that because, as far as I know, progressive shocks do not exist.
Companies like to sell progressive springs because they maintain ride height without sacrificing quality(at least thats the story) but I have a really hard time believing you can get the best ride when your spring rate varies with every bump while you shock rate does not!
With the setup you have, the spring rate will remain consistent while allowing you to select your desired shock rate.
Of course Burley knows this from his extensive experience building and piloting his own off road machines, whereas a desk jockey can barely tell a coil spring from a doughnut. |

Do you have to return cores? Are they lengthened? _________________ ☮️ |

Not sure about the shocks but I trust Burl to send me the right ones for my setup.

LOVE that the perch is adjustable. It's about time someone figured this out! |

No worries.
He will have you dialed in.
Looking forward to seeing everything mounted and hear your impressions.
We will be seeing more of the same setup, mark my words.
It answers so many suspension issues that arise from having a very heavy rearend...haha.
Being able to use flat cut springs that come in different heights and spring rates makes all the difference. |

You got the black ones, right? Those are Whiteline bushings... Check with Chris at T3technique about his Powerflex parts, I believe they are a softer compound.

Yes, mine are black. I had considered trying the powerflexes, but I am not sure the difference would be worth $140 plus alignment and effort. Going back to rubber would probably be a more dramatic change. I am just hesitant because every single rubber part I have replaced in the time of my ownership is failing again already.
I should say; I need tyres, mine are old and hard, so I am not making any changes until I get new softer ones and see if that helps.
I only mentioned the bushings in this post to see what the op had decided to use. There are a few options, which is GREAT, but unfortunately good quality new rubber bushings are not one of them, to my knowledge.

Mine are burley. Not sure they are my problem, just curious. |

Any chance those swing perches would be available stand alone, and for 2WD? Seems like a great way to expand the pool of potential spring options. The ones in the pic appear to be very similar to MB units _________________ Casey--

I believe that he does. I have had his front and rear trailing arm bushings for a few years now. |
