Did 700 miles in the '71 yesterday-- Willows, CA to Redmond, WA. I'm not sure if we consumed more gasoline or coffee!

Hello, everybody!

Just a quick update from the road...

ITINERARY V1.2 is online:
www.airheadparts.com/treffen/itinerary.pdf

Here are the changes:

Sunday August 3rd-
The gas stop has moved down the road just a bit to the Spirit Mountain Casino. They have a ton of room, and are right on the route, where the old station was small, and off the road a bit.

Tuesday August 5th--
The Humbugs Picnic has moved about 30 minutes down the road to an awesome location on private property.

Wednesday August 6th--
Lunch has moved to In N Out Burger in Petaluma.

Friday August 8th--
Breakfast has moved to the Big Sur Bakery. The old place doesn't open until 9am.

Sunday August 10th--
Added a little info. The Treffen finishes at the J Street Marina in Chula Vista, CA!

Thanks, everyone-- we'll see you all real soon at the Canadian border, then we'll celebrate the start of 2014's Treffen #16 at Chaplin's Bellevue Volkswagen in Seattle!

Everybody drive safe!

Hi All,

My 19 year old Son is driving his little 58 Bug up from Sacramento. He set off yesterday and drove 460 Miles to reach Eugene Oregon late last night.

He set off again this morning at 9am and has covered another 140 miles so far with another 160 miles to go to reach the Treffen Start line.

He's heading North bound on I-5, last seen about 50 miles South of Seattle.

Keep your eye out for him. If you see him on the way, and give him a wave. Here's his little Bug when he set off yesterday:
