I have a certificate for my 55 beetle and it does not mention the color of the car, upholstery and which dealer was sent to except that it shows country of destination ( USA ) I have seen other ones with more complete information, does anybody knows why is that? |

that's weird! mine did came with the color but the color they stated was wrong. maybe their databases are not that accurate and they leave this information behind these days? |

From what I understand the records are not 100% complete- and they do not give engine numbers out any more, but will confirm one if you give it to them. _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?

Very true, I ordered mine early this year and was told the microfiche that had my oval's info on was crumbling and unreadable. |

Going on five months. I have e-mailed twice to inquire if it is in process
and no reply. Who do I contact? They have my money! If I ever get it
and it's all un-specified I will be pissed! |

I ordered a birth certificate years ago, not realizing they could confirm the engine # if I provided it. When I finally got around to sending the info to the above email address two weeks ago I heard back the very next day with a request for my credit card info so they could charge me another 20 Euros. _________________ Stop worrying about how much your car will be worth when you are dead and build it to make you happy! |

Back in the 70s and 80s birth certificate info was free and then in the early 90s they began charging, I think it was $35. I have not requested any info since they began charging for it, but I remember, they could not provide all expected info due to being unreadable or never noted,. _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD

They said it is not lost and should be a few more weeks. I thinks they might
be trying to contact the worker who painted the car to see if he can recall what colour it was
Dont order one if you need any info. Dont expect 8 weeks. Likely the only usefull info will be the destination it was supplied to and the date it left... |

June 54, maybe Iceland green with a sprinkling of Strato silver and a bunch
of missing parts!
I'll be patient, the suspense! |

Ordered mine in February. I sent an inquiry yesterday, and received an email this morning stating: Sorry but I can’t say how long it takes.
I ordered it knowing this, but I guess I needed confirmation. Lol. _________________ Darel
