356 information

I was out car hunting today and found a few 356's ,two hard tops and one vert . Both hard tops seem complete except for a few bolt on parts that were pilfered over the years, but the vert isn't much more than a body and chassis. I am not putting up pics till they are home with my but I was wondering where I may be able to find a breakdown of "what is what" so I Can get a better idea of what I have found. I know one is a 1600 by the badge on the back. It has overrides on the bumpers like the American spec early beetles have. Any help will be appreciated.
