I've no advice, just wanted to say it looks good, you seem to be steaming right along with it. Keep at it!

Sunroof is now fully dismantled. Now I just have to order and replace various hardware.

Now I have to start thinking about new wiring. Will use watsonstreetworks with a blue sea fuse bus. I will fake out and form the harness outside the bug. This should make the installation much easier.

Turns out my 1905 was a 2007.
Running 40X32 heads
Dual Kadrons jetted out
Engel 110

Was iffy about rebuild then decided to go balls out. Kelly Avery rebuilt my motor. Found a collapsing piston, broken spring, stuck oil reflief, cracked spark plug hole for this aloha special.

Lesson learned, always go balls out.

Finally got the motor in. HOA loved the 20min break in run at high revs.
