i have a question on what decklid and hood rubber is correct for my 6/53 oval....KN lists these two seals in a set for splits and early oval to.. 1955=2 seals for the hood and one for the decklid..supposedly bigger thicker seals than later ovals. BUT..WW sells a the hood seal as 52 and earlier=hood is a 3 piece and decklid is a one piece. Which is correct? Thanks!

early ovals and all splits used three pieces but the rubber was a bit wider than on later cars.

I would check with Ricardo at Splitpartsunlimited. The makes the correct seals.
