The pleasure's all mine... Wink

Seriously.. I'd very much recommend a good restore on "Hank"! (...and mow the flowers out of the engine..).

It looks like it might have some real potential to be a real nice runner.

IF the taillights are original? It looks to be a 71 or 72.

You couldn't buy another Hank for $200 if you tried.

Its 67 or earlier, probably 66 at the earliest but def not 68 or later.

The doors, dash pad and tail lights from a later model are probably throwing people.

From the pictures it doesn't really tell me anything. It looks to be a mix-match of several years all in one. Granted the tail lights and running lights (if were once on the before baja car) could indicate 1971-72.

Here's a few things I'd do to see what it really is.
    1. Check the driver side door frame for the paint code sticker, if it still has one, should have a year and month associated when it came off the production line.
    2. Check behind the side windows at the back and see if it has the air vents there or if there is any indication that they were filled. If unsure check back at the engine for where they would exit.
    3. Flat windshield or a slightly bent flat one?
    4. Measure the rear window.
    5. What does the gas flap look like on the passenger side?
    6. Are there 3 vent holes on both sides near the rear window on the inside of the car (a headliner covering them perhaps)?
    7. Decode the VIN number on the dash drivers side.

All i can think of now.[/list]

WHat axle is you buggy?

that looks like a short axle swinger so its probably a 66 model, got the 66 and earlier door handles too.
