I am a new builder that will have help, I have assembled my parts list and was interested in any input from others.

OG case opened for 94, full flow, tapped for turbo, dual relief
82mm DPR crank, VW journals
5.5 H rods
1.4 rockers
steve tims stage 2 heads 42x37.5, match ported manifolds
fk8 cam
dual 44s
13lb chromoly flywheel
kennedy pressure plate
wiseco or mahle piston kit
009 distributor?
blue coil?
bosch alternator? what size? small stereo, 1 subwoofer, 500 watt amp
lifters?
any other suggestions? Thanks
This will be a weekend driver, occasional drives on the freeway 100-200 miles. I will not be on the drag strip but I would like to put somehonda's to shame every now and then.

Try a 010 dist instead of 009. Also you could use AA P&C's . Dont waste your money on scat rockers , both sets of mine were machined wrong , try CB Performance maybe bugpack

Got Scats in mine and their fine. They replaced Bugpack roller bearing setup which were nothing but hassle.

I've already ordered the SCAT rockers, fk8 cam, heads and manifolds. I am wondering which lifters to order, what cam gear, what pushrods, and kennedy stage 1 or 2?

I have had good luck so far with engle lifters on my 2332 with fk8, cb 044's, dual springs, and 1.4 rockers. If it were me I'd get cb straight cut cam gears, cb chromoly push rods, and a kennedy stage II (you said "tapped for turbo" so I'm assuming you're going to turbo the motor). Depending on how much boost you might go with a puck style disk as my stage II is currently slipping with 9lbs and a solid disk.

CB lightwieght lifters, Cb straight cut gears, Manton CTF chromo pushrods, Kennedy Stage 1 with Kush lok disc. Except for the Cb straight cuts I run this exact set up and Scat straight cuts on my 2276 86C daily. Mine hooks right up...

thanks.. I am not going to turbo for a little while but ill still go stage 2 so im not buying twice. I'll go ahead and order the straight cut cam gears, engle lifters, and chromo push rods. I was leaning in those directions but needed input as ive never built bigger than 1600.
