Question is, how difficult is it to swap 73 standard beetle fenders and install ones from a 65 beetle with large headlights and small tail lights? |

Not too sure about the '73 but on my old '68 it would have been an almost straight up bolt off / bolt on issue for the front fenders. The tail lights though would need new holes for mounting I would imagine. _________________ In search of a Vanagon

Any year standard Bug fenders will bolt on to any year standard Bug without any problems. The bumper holes are different so you'll have to cut or fill them. _________________ 2017 Street Comp Champion - Thunder Valley Raceway Park - Noble, OK

What are you doing with the rear window vents on the 73? A 65 wouldnt have had them. |

Not quite sure what I'll be doing with the rear window vents yet, just starting the rest process. Anyone have pictures of a late standard with 65-66 fender setup? Thanks |
