Gerson, it's Rob. Just wondering what the status of the fuel separation panels was? You got the ones from Jason right? Stoked to see those. A lot of DC and SC people out there that will be happy to see those. _________________ Rob

Oh yes!
I will definitely get all new panels for my next project,
Current is done with diy method and it takes sooo much more time to make repair parts yourself.. those few parts that i had purchased made the repairs so much easier.. _________________ After being used as a yard storage for 30years, the -58 Microbus has been lifted up from the ground and being prepared for welding and welding and welding.... Hi Gerson,
Do you make the hinge carrier to hang the treasure chest door from, it would be for a 57 Euro RHD pickup?? With treasure chest on LHS.
Cant see it on any site who stock Funky Green panels.

we are working on them now...we are having the hinges dropped forged and had to have 8 dies made for those hinges, plus the door skin dies, and the door inner frame dies......alot of work...we are on it... _________________ that's not patina, that's fucking rust man!!!!

We think this is a game changer!!!!!!, here is our reproduction of the rear torsion housing middle section...the side plate castings are being done now, and then we will put together the complete rear torsion housing for early and late Barndoor buses.......only from Klassicfab, always pushing the limits..

Gerson
looking forward to seeing these parts in person
we all owe you a 6 pack for taking the challenge / raising the bar/ and taking the brunt of the risk to do these new parts w/o knowing if youll break even.
keep pushing the bar - just dont retire before i get the metal Ive bought from you and the stuff I still need into the double cab
Ill bring a 6-pack pack to BulliBrigade for you / crew to start off the thank you from a North Florida crew cab driver
BTW are you doing gas tank panels - or are they not cost effective |

Cast Iron? I thought most of the VW suspension pieces were forged steel, not cast iron. Of course, it wouldn't matter for the end castings. But, I think high carbon forged steel would be a better choice for the center section. Unless they indeed were originally made of cast iron. _________________ "My biggest worry is that when I die, my wife will sell all my parts for what I told her I paid for them"-Jon

Dropped forged is not cast iron. I'm only asking if they are: they looked dropped forged. |
