| Hello, we purchased this one owner van in February with 116,000 miles(young!), and my 2 Daughters and another girl left for a 5 week round the country graduation present Road and Camping Trip. She left out of Florida and on the 3rd day, the ECM died in Austin Texas. Super nice dealer, Onion Creek, but the part had to come from Germany. It is in and they are working on it. Apparently the prior owner replaced the ECM in 2012. I am wondering what wisdom can be shared? My kids are continuing on in a rental car, and I am hoping Monday it will be all good, but how do you know? I will fly to Austin and drive it to California to catch up with them. |

Rare, although not heard of, for the ECM to die.
If this doesn't fix it, I hope they will not charge you. |
