Hi Ho Boys and Girls.
The ECMSAS Trailbash for 2014 is the LAST WEEKEND of JULY.

Beginning Friday July 25 for the F.U.Que
Then camping out at my place for:

Saturday July 26 the Trailbash!
Split Window buses only (67 and earlier) for a romp over about 60 miles or so
of sand roads and trails in the Pine Barrens of South Jersey.

Continuing back at the house for the post bash pulled pork barbecue-fest and
overnight campout.

On Sunday July 27, usually everybody packs up and heads home.
A canoe/kayak trip is always planned, but never materializes.
Bring your kayak and be first to participate!

(I may have told some people the wrong weekend at CTS, sorry)

A photo from last year:

This is the 9th Trailbash, and the 10th year, if I am recalling correctly.

Come along, pm me for directions, or just to let me know you're coming.
Its a blast.

Grandfathered in before the no Bays rule took effect. Only two
that are allowed I think.

The Dorman Sc lives about 10 miles from me, I hope to bring the owner with me this year, give him a taste of the trip, to push him along to getting that Truck back to Jersey for a complete Trail Bash run.... Smile

The dorman sc finished the run, it just didn't make it home on the highway the next day. The true test of a TB bus is whether it can make it home the next day.

Don't forget trailbash is an Eco-friendly event too.

Well said Stan.
The trailbash has already claimed at least 2 motors "the morning after" on the way home.

vwpieces was the first, he went for more of the traditional Titanic position a few years ago during the "any bus can come" TB's when his ignition decided it'd had enough...and he stalled
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

He made it to literally one mile from home the next day when his engine finally gave up the ghost.

Manny and the Dorman single were going for more of a Poseidon Adventure look...listing to the port side, but not quite flipping over.
He got about half way home the next day Very Happy

If you are a trailbash virgin, please understand that most of the water hazards in these photos are OPTIONAL.
You don't necessarily have to do this to your bus if you decide to join us.
95% of these water shots are located in an area ( or areas on particularly wet years ) where you can *USUALLY* choose to join in the shenanigans...or park your bus safely on the shore and get out with your camera.
There are puddles along the trails, but most of the really, really big offenders have a trail around them or the trail is wide enough next to them if you decide your bus doesn't deserve a good mud bath.
Not always...but usually. Very Happy
