Alright, so was test fitting some stuff together, and the glandnut does not fit through the flywheel. Glandnut is new from Wolfsburgwest, and the flywheel is an AA 12v 200mm for the 36hp. The hole in the flywheel mic's at 1.102" and the large shoulder on the glandnut is 1.119", so .017" too large.
Wanted to see if anyone could mic a stock 36hp flywheel and glandnut for me?
Should I just have the flywheel machined to fit the glandnut?
Here's some pics:

got a 36 apart right now. the gland nut is 1.119. and the flywheel is 1.134. so the sweet china flywheel is made wrong. i would machine the gland nut to fit. it's close put it on a lathe .

Hmm, after comparing a little more, seems as though it's not the flywheel I ordered in the first place. Has an outside diameter of 10 3/4in. Which is 6v. Gets even better as no one has the right flywheel in stock. Checked my email and I ordered the right one, but appears wrong one was shipped, I ordered this almost a year ago, company I purchased it from doesn't even list them on their website anymore.

Back to the drawing board.

Sounds like the flywheel bore is Porsche size. 356 gland nut will probably fit.

Easy problem to fix. Scat sells a very nice 356 gland nut that will fit that flywheel. As for the 6v ring gear, just buy one of the 12v starters (that are available from a couple places) that has a 6v drive gear on it.

Ok. Emailed concept 1 up in the great white north. They have them in stock. If it's not right, well, then porsche glandnut and hybrid starter it is. Both option look to have been the same cost from this point. Let you all know when it arrives.
