1.9 TDI AHU ENGINE CODE 50 AMP FUSE FOR GLOW PLUGS BLOWN AND ALL SPADE CONNECTIONS FOR THE GLOW PLUG HARNESS ARE SOLDERED TOGETHER [P.O].I HAVE NO POWER GOING TO GLOW PLUGS.HAVE INSTALLED NEW PLUGS.GLOW PLUG DASH INDICATOR COMES ON 1-2 SECONDS ONLY.PLEASE ANY HELP AT OUR WHITS END.ALSO WE NEED A WIRING DIAGRAM FOR THE SAME ENGINE THANK YOU

I am not familiar with the tdi engine, but on an old vw diesel you could run a 10 gauge wire from the positive battery terminal to the glow plug bus and bypass all of the electronics. Just hook the wire to one of the plugs (which should connect them all) and clip the other end to the positive terminal. Wait ten seconds, start, remove the wire. This will get you to work until you can repair the frankenstein wiring the correct way.

As for the wiring diagram, I would suggest buying a good repair manual. Most VW folks prefer the ones from Bentley Publishers.

Till it gets close to 30f... If it lights up at all you have issue... Unlike old idi... Not needed till under 30f... Mine still not hooked up...

Is your car an automatic or manual? The manual transmission cars have three additional glow plugs in the thermostat housing.

Wow... You need to learn where thermostats are.... Ignore the moron who has no idea... The3 are in the waterneck to help ad heat... Not starting system... And no where close to thermostat...
