Hello!
Digital clock on my Quantum does not work, sometimes when I start the car it displays 0:00 very briefly and then fades away, should I get a new one or is it fixable?
Thanks |

Can you get a new clock, or would that have to be a whole new dash? Is that even available or by new you mean "new" to you?
That can't be the only clock in the car, as most radios have a clock function... |

If you are restoring or trying to keep the car a working original, you can replace the digital clock, but it is extremely labor intensive and you really have to know what you are doing or else you can screw up the circuit board on the cluster. You are better off just replacing the whole cluster as a unit if you absolutely have to have a working clock. Otherwise I'm with ps2375. I would just leave it and use the clock on a radio or other device like your phone.
It could also be a loose connection, but you still have to remove the cluster to find out. |

Ok, I will try to get another cluster and see if I can swap just the digital clock.
Thank you friends,
