I bought a bunch of 914 parts and the guy had some 356/early 911 parts he threw in. One was a seat. The best I can tell from the hinges, it's from a 1965 356C. The seat back material is pretty tattered and there's a tear in the bottom and some rusting on one hinge. Is this worth anything? I really don't have the room to store it (too many 914 and old Land Rover parts). Any idea what to price it at? Not looking to get rich, just pass it on to someone who can use it.

Looks to be an early 911/912 seat to me...

I also think it looks like an early 912 seat. The seat rails have different spacing between 356C and 912. These sell in the $200 to $250 range give or take for a pair.

As Sterling mentioned, the spacing is different between 356C and early 911/912. These are either late 356C (you can tell by the recliner knobs) or early 911/912.

The distance between seat rails center to center is:

356C: 430mm
911/912: 444mm

I would measure them before putting them up for sale so that an early 911/912 owner does not buy 356C seats and vice versa. The last thing you want to do is end up in a mess with someone, innocent as it would be.
