And how do the early and late versions differ? _________________ If all else fails, stop using all else

Reading up on this would be good. I've heard of a couple instances of them locking randomly while driving. There's several threads on here about it |

i couldn't see that ever happening unless you leave the key in it after you unlock the shifter. |

After buying a couple of the other brands and having problems with them. Bought one from Wolfsburg West. Better quality then the others. Never had a problem with it.
One thing is with the one from Wolfsburg West is the key stays in lock cylinder when it unlocked. Comes with quick release for your key chain.
This is in a buggy that sees on and off road. Even in very rough off road trails with buggy bouncing around and high vibrations conditions key never turns from its open position. _________________ Joseph

....as do the original German Sperrwolf shifter locks.
Key only comes out when shifter is in locked position.
