Didn't count but seems like a lot of shots before they hit him. _________________ Glenn

Unless they're blanks, they have to hit something.

Cop’s Warning Shot Kills Bystander
A WARNING SHOT allegedly fired by one of the members of the city police react team ended the life of a 21 year-old young man in Lower Lumbia, Pagadian City over the weekend.
Police report said that victim a certain Christopher Labajo, was playing basketball when hit fatally by a lone bullet from the service pistol of a policeman who fired a warning shot to halt a fleeing suspect of a stabbing incident |

Don't take a tire iron to a gun fight. |

It's a water cooled, and probably mid-engine bug. Vents in the trunklid and along the body in front of the rear fender I bet that thing can haul. And corner. |

What kind of an idiot officer tries to shoot someone in the legs? That's dangerous and unprofessional. That and they missed several times.
This brings back memories when my '67 bug was used as a shield from which a perp. distanced himself from the officers. I kept praying, "Don't shoot my car". Then when the perp. put his backpack on my car I thought "Shoot that f#$&er!" _________________ CU05 w/HBB

The above comment is not true if discussion is wanted but I'll leave it locked since a moderator locked it.
Based on discussion I saw elsewhere:
The reason there were shots that missed is because they were trying to hit him in the legs.
EDIT: Unlocked by request. |
I don't think a seasoned officer would shoot someone in the legs, can you imagine the liability? that mofo would sue him and his department for billions. _________________ I'd be UNSTOPPABLE if not for Law Enforcement and PHYSICS.

Very obvious both officers are inexperienced. They run away from a suspect armed with a tire iron when he lunges at them. That would have been a dead man under most circumstances if you have well trained officers. _________________ Going fast in a VW because to do so in anyything else is boring |

Really? Trained officers would have shot him dead? terrorist threatening and resisting arrest by running away (seemingly) unarmed, requires firing multiple shots in a densely populated area? That's a litigious situation! Those missed shots go somewhere I'm sure folks were at their window checking out all the shouting. _________________ Somewhere there is a jar with your name on it!

I believe he meant that if they were seasoned well trained officers then they wouldn't have missed any of their shots and yes a tire iron is considered deadly force. And until you find yourself in a deadly force situation you probably shouldn't judge the actions of those who have. Very stressful and adrenaline charged and you have less than a second to decide on a course of action and then do it. Try to remember what you did the last time someone jumped out at you to scare you for a prank and multiply that 100 fold. _________________ Looking for anything from Hal Casey Motors out of Hamburg New York, from license plate surrounds to matchbooks.
