Sent a cashiers check on July 8th for the oil temp gauge he has in the classifieds. He hasn't replied to emails or phone calls since.
Not a happy customer at the moment. _________________ http://www.cascadekombis.org/vintage-meet |

wow, unbeleivable.
he asked me to keep the gauge for him because he need a week or so to get paid , as i had other buyer and i accepted because i owed him a favor (he found me some okrasa heads a few years back) i told him that i would keep the gauge for him and to not worry about it and that he could take his time on payment.
i had a small surf trip coming up so i went to post office 4 days after he sent the check and nothing, the small surf trip was out of email zone that i just came back today to find this.
i never seen such of a anxious customer, if he wanted express shipping i would advise to use paypal but he decided to send a cashiers check without a tracking number so i figure he wasnt too hurry, i am not a business owner, just a guy with a few parts for sale, sometimes patience is in order and i would hope that it goes both ways specially when the customer ask to hold without deposit and use the mail service for payment.
sorry for the stress. wasnt my intention. |

Anxious?
Here are the facts.
He sent an email July 7th with an address to send the check.
I dropped it in the mail the next day and asked to let me know when he got it.
Then nothing......no emails, just voicemail when I called. Silence.
Finally got an email on Sun July 20th.
That is 13 days of no contact what so ever.
It baffles me that Louis finds this so strange that I thought he was trying to rip me off.
Also, I never asked to hold it without a deposit.
I said I was interested, and would purchase it in a week if it was still available.
The damn ad was still up until Everett pulled it!
I would suggest better communication in the future. A simple email stating you were going out of town for a couple weeks would have avoided all of this. _________________ http://www.cascadekombis.org/vintage-meet |
