Hello all!

Professional here living in downtown Chicago. Own a really nice 1970 VW Beetle and have a spot to park it in my building but no place to do light maintenance a few times per year. Very neat and clean...won't even leave a drip.

Willing to rent garage or outdoor space to work on the car...hoping someone likes VWs and volunteers the space.

Not a bad idea...I've met a few of those guys. Mostly in the far suburbs. We'll see. Not many people would feel free to let a "stranger" use their garage nowadays.
