The air bypass screw on the throttle body is where you adjust it. First, lube the AAR valve by shooting some PB Blaster into as it rusts and sticks causing high idle. _________________ 70 Ghia Black convert-9/69 build date-stock w/133k 1600 SP-barn find now with a rebuilt tranny and engine

Thanks
I know it's on the throttle body but where? Do I have to remove the air cleaner? if so won't that effect the idle speed?

It should be fairly easy to see and yes you can remove the air cleaner trunk.....it is a slottrd screw with a spring underneath it and protrudes from the throttle body about 5/8".
Uh.....your car is still fuel injected right?
