Again, lots of stuff to store in little area to do so,

any value in keeping these door panels?

I have only 3, missing the passenger side front.

they are badly warped.

I did pull off the 2 pieces of chrome trim and the rusted ashtray base.

Are they- 1) smooth, 2) pebble grain or 3) leatherette style? Hard to see the detail from a computer monitor

If you don't want them, I may take them off your hands. I have a '56 vert that has the same interior

I believe this is '56 vert-only material.

Also, I believe the pocket on the drivers side is extra long and vert only. Sedans have a shorter width pocket IIRC.

Someone restoring a stock 56 red vert could probably use these so I would not trash them.

You can flatten-out door cards:

Place them backside down on smooth (eg: polished) concrete (eg garage floor) that has been made wet with tap water

Dampen inside surface of door cards and squeeze then down onto the wet floor with sheets of timber (eg plywood) with weight (eg a spare tyre or three) and leave for several days until dry.

This will flatten out the masonite of the door cards to as-new

Works for me Smile

You can also use rubbing alcohol to dampen the door cards. This dries quicker and it will kill any mold and keep mold from forming if you are in a humid location.

I have an Inca red 57 that has the same panels so it isn't a 56 only. Mine have speaker grills on the rears. I guess they never thought about opening the windows with the speakers installed. Smile Both sides of mine have the larger vert pockets. They are identical except for the armrest on the passenger side.
