Adaptors to convert from 4 lug to five?

Hello.
was wondering. Do you use adaptors to convert from 4 lug to five? Or how does that work? Id like to run some thin tall tires on my future volksrod build so I'm trying to get ideas. Tnx...vr

Adapters is one way you can go, a better more preferred way to go is to have the drums re drilled or get conversion drums (such as thing drums which are the wide 5 pattern) or if converting to disc brakes then just get the rotors with the pattern you want, but you really do not need to change rims just to run thin tall tires.
