That on all the pic of Karmann Ghias featuring people… they always have this great, big, genuine smile?

It can't be helped! Should turn this thread into a 'ghias and smiles' thread, it would cheer me up on a dull day!

(I'm the guy with his daughter in the first pic)

I honestly thought I was starting to get another sinus infection the other day driving to work...

... then I realized my cheeks hurt not from sinus pressure but from being pushed up by the corners of my mouth ...

Weird, I'm the guy who ran out of gas in the second picture!
Too much time spent on the Samba?

It really is true - people simply smile when they see a Ghia. Today I had several neighbors come by to chat as I started backing her out; only smiles.

That's my wife in the blue Ghia, and she loves going for drives in it.

The are all smiles and just want to be inside the Ghia anytime I open the garage door.

John, you'e not old, you're "refined". Cool

I get a big grin even before I get to mine. Our daughter still works until midnight and I always volunteer to pick her up. I'll be heading to the garage with a smile and my wife will say "Why don't you take the van?" and I'll give her a confused look and say "Why would I want to do that?".

Gliding through the night air in a German/Italian beauty, the song of a mostly open exhaust flat four singing through the tunnels and under bridges, other drivers pacing you to get a better look...

That, or a minivan?

My jaw is sore by the end of a day with the Ghia. Perhaps we should band our collective Ghia's together and embark on a world peace tour. They seem to bring out the best in all we meet Cool
