SEVWA would like to invite all you to the Darlington Showdown #3 held at Darlington Dragway in Hartsville, SC on Sept 14th.
All VW Car Show, Drag Racing and Swap meet.
3 bracket classes plus Test and Tune, show car area and Swap meet and maybe even Pro Outlaw heads up racing.
We will be having the second installment of the Draggin Booties ladies racing class at this event! Scott Sain asked if we could make it happen at one of our events, so if you raced at Drag Night, come on out!
Saturday afternoon Show n Shine at Mike Riechenbach VW (more details to come)
Free Camping at Track on Saturday night. More details on times when date gets closer.

Who needs some flyers? Just send us a PM and we can get some out to you. We need your help to promote this event. If you know of a shop that needs some flyers, just get me with and I will make sure they are on my list.
This event used to be one of the largest events on the east coast and we want to get it back to where it was. We need everyone's help to get it back to it's former glory, don't want to see it die.

Just around the corner!
Round up your VW Stuff you no longer use and set up a swap space at the show!
Registration for the show is still ongoing, so be sure to get your car registered.

Only 2 weeks away until the Darlington Showdown in SC on Sept 14th. Here is the event design and will be available in the Forest Green and Ash colors. Sizes S-3XL $15 each. I will not have these on hand until next week, but if you will not be attending the event and would like to have one, just let me know. We will ship to USA and over seas.Accept Credit cards and Paypal.

Less then 2 weeks away!
Have you pre-registered your VW for the show? Take a moment to register via our online form.
Also we are in need of some judges. You will receive an event shirt for your time. The more we have the better we can do the judging in a timely manner and no one is out there too long. Just send me a PM if you are interested.

If you plan to show your vw please be sure to go online and register your car. It helps us out considerably at the registration table.
Event shirts will be available at the registration table for $15, sizes available from S-3XL. Get yours first thing!
Vendor spots are just $35 for used parts. It includes one entry. Clean out your shop and bring it on out!

For those of you that want to camp or drop off your trailer on Saturday afternoon evening. They have a drifting and race event from noon to around 10:30pm. So we will not be able to get to our spots until late. Racers if you want to come to test, you are more then welcome to.
$25 test and tune, $10 spectators (12 and under free) Be advised the earlier you come, you may have to pay an admission.
If you plan to come and race, be sure that your car is up to date with seat belts, battery tie down, Helmet etc. If you are unsure, just ask.

There seems to be some people that are upset with the turnout and cost of this show...well we can rent any where. Key word rent,we don't owen the location. So yes it cost us at times a lot.to give the Vw community a nice place to show,swap,and race.you and over 1000+ people that has read this post are the ones that make any event,what it is. One of our other shows is the largest on the east coast. Fast times at Farmington. It cost the same but because you came out and made it the biggest. Well it don't seem to madder... We have 11 shows pa,va,nc,Tenn,sc,Ga,and Fla.we do this for the Vw community to have a place to meet greet and have fun..thankyou to all of the ones that made it to this event. With you're help next yr will be better.
