Hi all, I hope Im posting this in an appropriate place. I have a transmission case from a late acquaintance of mine...the widow asked me to try to get a few bucks for some lunch money out of it. I put an ad up right here on thesamba which can be seen here:
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1670888
However, Id like to price it correctly, and put it in the right parts category. Right now its just in "General Parts" cause I dont even know what type of vehicle its used on. Can anyone help me discern what transmission this is and what it would be used on?
The part number on the case is 33 followed by 113.301.103 E. Underneath that is stamped AH3482721. Any info is appreciated. Thanks, gentlemen. |

Bug 71-72 IRS trans. I can get a whole complete used transaxle for less then $100. Just a bare double side cover case are a dime a dozen. _________________ 2017 Street Comp Champion - Thunder Valley Raceway Park - Noble, OK

Take it to the scrap yard, that will be the best offer you'll get. Or maybe someone will hack the bell housing off to make an engine stand and give you $25 for it. |

Turn it in to a "test" stand.

Throw it up on Craigslist for a scrapper. I have several ACVW semi-automatic and manual transmissions I have torn down for scrap steel, brass, and magnesium. I'm doing the same for about a dozen engines. _________________ West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943) |
