I saw this the other day and thought it might be of interest to some. It's a bit pricey though, better be good quality at $379.00!

That looks pretty cool! I wonder how it would hold up to use?

Cabela's has this similar option for $131.99. I've been tempted several times to buy it.

From looking at GrubHub's website I think theirs is more compact when folded. GrubHub has a table coming off the back though it is hard to see in this image. I haven't compared the dimensions.

Hmm. We've been looking at this one from REI:
http://www.rei.com/product/848478/rei-camp-kitchen

It seems to be strong enough, light enough and packs pretty small, too. I don't really want to be dragging a giant installation with us all over the PSW/PNW.

Cabela's version looks much nicer since you don't have a bunch of stuff hanging above your hot stove.

They are nice but I wouldn't keep my food in there. The racoons and bears etc.

How could anyone not feel better seeing that smile!

That are more options then I knew seeing the links showing up and that's good showing the options.

Somebody will probably get a bear strike from being sloppy or leaving food in it.

I wouldn't want to lug around a fully loaded setup either as mentioned and for me I'm not in one spot long enough right now to want to set one of these up every campsite.

Fortunately, it will more likely be ground squirrels or raccoons that visit first.
And then one has some warning and can clean up properly BEFORE the bears arrive.

We sat and watched as ground squirrels really made a mess of a neighboring campsite recently,.. when some frat-boy types left for the day and had stored their snacks in their tents!

Geez. Some fairly pricey one-person backpacking tents and now with little holes neatly eaten thru the mosquito netting to get to Doritos. Rolling Eyes

Yes they're expensive - but they're beautiful and built/sold by a nice guy.

For the Canucks in the crowd Outbound makes a few different versions, all below $200 CAD:

Here's the $180 CAD deluxe one:

Not sure where else but I've seen them at Wholesale Sports:
http://www.wholesalesports.com/storefront/home/cam...51138.html

Online shopping and stores from BC to Manitoba. Like a Canadian Cabellas.

***EDIT: I see that Outbound is distributed in the US too!***

Camped last weekend with a friend who has a grubhub. Overall its nice kit and laid out fairly well. Few things I like
- pantry items can be kept in it all the time
- folds up nice with wheel and handle to move easy
- table in the back adds a lot of room for prep (3 tables total, table in back is weird placement but works)
- pockets everywhere big small long zipped you name it

It is a big big heavy piece so be prepared for the size. Would probably fit well behind passenger seat strapped in though

I use the REI for extended camping and the Coleman for weekends, works for me since I have a Westy so no need for pantry or sink but a weekender or tintop this would be pretty good.

Wow. I just plop the Coleman and the ice chest on the picnic table. There's so far for me to go in this Vanagon camping thing. The possibilities are endless! Smile

For the price of some of these, my Burley swing away tray suddenly becomes "cost effective".. or mount an Aluminess box like Whynotvw's.

Fits a Coleman stove perfectly.. or a Weber Q100.. or a Magma SS yachtie BBQ.. or...
Discovered the other day that my old Stanley rolling tool chest fits it like a glove, too.

Still.. That SS box back up a few posts.. the one that is $1000 for the base with legs and shelves. That's something I'd like to have sitting on the swing-away tray. Would have to lock it down somehow, though.

Beverly Hillbilly stylie!
