I've had this tinplate model, guessing at least 40 years old, approx 8 inches long, bottom shows no manufacturer, but "Volkswagen" all caps, and Japan stamped on bottom battery powered for lights and cooling fan thru clear plastic rear deck cover...no box with it but car in good shape..what might it be and value? Thanks have trouble posting pics, but can try |

$5 to $70 based on condition due to no box. They were sold at the neighborhood Rexall Drug when I was a kid- circa early '70s. Rather common. _________________

A photo would be helpful, but I'm pretty certain it's a Bandai like this one:

Things like condition, color and completeness, and whether or not it works affects the value. The one in The Samba ad has been for sale for some time. _________________ We are striving for perfection, to make our cars run forever, if possible.
