What is everyone using to paint suspension components and pieces that are out of sight out of mind so to speak? Not looking to do show quality, but want everything to look tidy! Is there a need to lay down a primer, use a high heat paint, etc?

I'm using Eastwoods black epoxy primer, then top coating it with the color of my choice. I figure the epoxy primer should be pretty corrosion resistant. It has a nice satin black finish. I am top coating it with gloss black epoxy paint in some places, and silver spray bomb in others (vht silver wheel paint).

I'm using KBS rust seal for mines. I would try the master series stuff if I can get it in Hawaii.

Sandblast, PPG's DP series epoxy primer, PPG's Deltron 9700 Black, and a clear coat. Good to go. Cool
