I am considering painting my 54 RHD deluxe in colours similar to what you see in the brochures at the time.
I feel it may be a little more refreshing to see a deluxe in something other than the SWR and Chestnut brown.
I would like to do it in factory colours or what options may have been available at the time.
Any info on these colours and what's possible would be great.

Yeah looked that stuff up, but were there any way you could order a deluxe that was painted just like the Microbus in the brochure in 1954?
If you could are these real colours or just a bit of artistic licence.

That's what I was thinking, but wondered if some one in the day ordered one and asked for it to look like the one in the brochure.
Would be good to see this artwork on a real bus.

if the bus was delivered in grey primer, it could have been painted in any color scheme you could think off later on. most probably the colors would be bright, as to make them visible for guests/passengers or whatever use it would see, fe. at an airport.
probably rather mild pastel colors if it had served for church or other official use. IMO if you keep away from Neon colors or fancy pearl stuff and you have some fond interest in the period, you're good to try whatever your mind pleases. _________________ Hotrods, Fords, Veedubs and Triumph Twins !
