my wifes 85 cabrio project is causing me a bit of grief, i do not know much about the fuel system on this car and it seems i am having a bit of fuel delivery problems. at first the car fires up but runs poorly for about 30 seconds to a minute then dies and wont restart. I have a new fuel filter on it, new plugs, cap, and rotor. not sure where to go next on this, any help will be awesome thanks.

I'm guessing this is a CIS car? Sounds like it might be running on the cold start injector and is not getting fuel thru the main CIS injectors. Have you checked them for flow? The Bently Manual shows you how to do this.

Yes, but it sounds like they are dirty enough to not be working at all.
