Any source for 6v bulbs (twist in) type?

I see plenty of bayonet type bulbs but no straight bulbs.

I don't know what type of bulb your ride takes, but
is it something like this or the other other type ?

I've used Candlepower before. Decent service

Bingo, thank you.

I searched far and wide and could only find the bayonet type.

Classicandvintagebulbs.com here in Australia make halogen bulbs for 6v bugs and other old vehicles. Nice bright lights for no increase in power.

When ordering, make sure you state LHD or RHD so the low beam kicks off to the curb side.

When I searched it didnt come up before, hmmm. Weird.

Thanks.

The halogen idea sounds like a good way to go as well.
