You could go all custom chassis & use a mustang 2 front end & trick rear suspension. I think that the Mendeola is the only bolt on. |

Camber gain through the suspensions travel would be nice, reduced bump steer, less weight, rack and pinion instead of the old box... Lots to gain IMO. Not that you can't do a lot with the stock beam but it has its limitations. _________________ Strive for perfection in everything. Take the best that exist and make it better. theastronaut, sometimes the questions asked to the original poster help to understand where they are coming from and more importantly what their basic understanding is. It helps to keep from wasting your time on folks who are hopelessly lost and have no understanding of what they are asking about. _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch! |

I think you have a few options here ( none of which are inexpensive) Street rod guys have been having the same issues for years. Mustang 2 front is the most available for parts & kits. Not a bolt in, I would build a frame & go from there. The sand buggy guys have an 'a' arm set up as well a trick rear. Best of luck |

So, what are you dreams/ambitions/intentions? Is it a track car? What regs do you need to meet? Off-roader? Daily? etc
If you know where/what to ask, you can do a LOT with the beam front end, and the later 2-bolt Supers have a surprisingly sophisticated front end, too |
