It is a sunroof so it is worth way more than your standards. I would have to have the Ghia and the Beetle to be satisfied. I can't imagine paying that for a toy. _________________ Wanted: Anything from Risacher Motors VW dealership in Morristown, Tennessee or Westgate VW in St. Louis Missouri.

Okay, all collectors have seen this toy, or have we?
Before you all go off the rails, ask yourself how many of these large tin VWs have you seen that were radio controlled? I've never seen one. And how many with the Japanese box? Nearly all these toys were made for export, so something this fancy made for the home market is unusual to say the least.
Collectors of Japanese toys are very serious. Sort of like VW accessory collectors who don't blink at dropping a couple grand on an item. Something this unusual and mint in box may be worth more than you think. I know I'd love to have it. _________________ We are striving for perfection, to make our cars run forever, if possible.
