Wondering if any of the Thing Registry guys are still around? Thinking of Don Eddy, Al Farmery? The guy, cant remember his name, with the lowered yellow thing that was always under construction. Heard David Campbell was living in Oklahoma.wondering if he still has his regular and the lowered thing. The couple of Kubel treffens in the park in East Seattle and at Gas Works park had the most cars show up 13 or so years ago.Any of you remember these events?

My brother's orange '74 Thing has the remains of an old Whidbey Island sticker on the windshield. I thought I had a close-up photo of the sticker, but I can't find it at the moment....

It's in Iowa now, but if you or your friends remember seeing this one out there, I'm sure Scott (Towel Rail) would like to know! Cool

Talked to Don and David about 6 mos. ago. Don still in Wa. and David lives in Ok. but still spends time in Shelton during the summer at his home on Fawn lake. Dave was thinking about reviving the Registry. I'm going to Anacordes this weekend and may stop by Shelton if I have the time.

Al Farmery is still around. He still attends events with his white 181, "Big Juan". Both Don E. and Al do rallies with the Boise Thing Group. Andrea McGowan lives up in Bellingham. She still has her Thing but isn't all that active.
