Hi, I have a porsche 356A 1958, (T2A reutter) but the orignal transmission don't exist,,,,

I found transmission of a '63 (type 741),,,,,,

I can use this transmission in my car without problem?

I need any modification???

All transmisions can be used in any 356???

Mr.Zambrano:

Yes, the 741 can be used in the T2 A.

Basically, you need two parts: a 644 nose cone and shifter rod (hockey stick). These will allow the shift rod to connect properly to the (e)monkey-motion of the A.

You will have to change the 3 shift rails as well. Clutch release parts are different.
