Hey guys - I made this today using my dremel an aluminum spacer, and a wood screw. Total cost = 70 cents. Think it will work vs. the expensive repro one?

Nice work. What did you figure out with your back seat?

Hi Darrel. Thanks.

I don't yet. It's still at the body shop so I can't play with it like I want.

I'm going to first order the correct swivel hinges. The problem is I've asked on the forum for someone to:

1) post dimensions of a known accurate 63 convertible rear seat (since coupes and verts may be different)

2) show me where the correct swivel hinges attach via photo

If I could get the above, I'd be a happy ghia owner and more easily able to determine the issue :/

Hi there yes I should do a search better Smile

That being said, I've seen that post and I'm thinking there is a mistake in it.

It says the coupe rear seat height is 17 1/4 and the convertible rear seat is known to be smaller coming in at 17 3/16. That's basically the same seat height. So is there a mistake in that post or is the convertible seat height really 17 and 3/16?
