I know the obvious differences like bumper mounting holes and the mounting holes for the tail lights, but is there any physical difference otherwise? The rear fenders on my 61 are toast and since I'll be filling the over-rider holes on the bumpers anyways, I was wondering if I picked up a set of 68-69 fenders and re-drilled the holes for the lights if there would be any other big differences. A guy in town has a set from a 68 that he has offered to sell me, and it seems like finding a set correct fenders for my car is impossible. I'd still rather have OG metal on my car than reproduction fenders. _________________ Tennessee, Tennessee, ain't no place I'd rather be |

All Beetle ( not super) fenders will interchange.
They will fit your body.
The biggest issue is the longer bumper bracket slot but sounds like you know bout that.
