Most parts stores around Lansing carry them in stock, so you might want to check there first. They look just like the standard blinker unit except for there is a gound wire coming out of it. Then you should be fine with all LEDs on your bug.

I don't remember how much detail I put there, but if you want I can draw up a quick diagram. I only used three of the four prongs in the end do I bet you could get away with just a three pronger which are cheaper. If you look up flasher diagram on google images you can figure out how to wire it up on your own. Yours will be a special situation since I don't think you had any of the original wiring. Lemme know when u need help. Just don't let me forget, I'm feeling really flaky lately. I promised to help someone else last week and totally forgot who and what. Ugh

Alright thank you! My Dad and I will be doing the work on my Engine along with my Grandpa. Which is the true reason I bought my Baja, Memories made in the garage are the best kind of memories! on the agenda is taking my carb apart completely to check it for any debris, rejetting the carb, getting measurements on all components in my Engine so I know what parts I need to buy if something else happens. I am in the Process of trying to Find a Kevlar Timing Belt so I have a little bit of added peace of mind, I know that it was a freak accident that my Belt broke but I cannot be at ease without knowing I have the best Preventative measures in action to stop it from happening again. Does anyone on here use a Kevlar Timing Belt on any of their vehicles? If so where did you get your belt from?

I was thinking of trying to throw at least 2 in one for defrost and 1 under my seat so I can have a warm butt all winter. Smile seat warmer I feel the warmth already

Yea it helps a bit. :p

Only part of defrost that will be difficult is that my whole car is stripped so I are to make a new enclosure for the defrost so it does not let cold air blow through all over the place right now I can see the road if I look through my defrost vents so that is on the agenda as well

On a totally different note, we have bizarre sleep schedules. Must be something about being students. I'm sitting in a library plugging away at manufacturing facilities homework. Why is the coffee shop always closed when you need it the most? Laughing

haha yea my schedule is weird because i plan my days at work based on how much time i will need to get it finished before i have to leave to go to school.

On a topic related note everything is not going well. my new engine possibly has a cracked piston (was supposed to have my car back last weekend but not sure where it is at now as he has not contacted me with an update) I am being charged for parts but not labor which is not too terrible but still sucks as the break was due to a stress fractured intermediate pulley. My sale on the old engines and parts I had recieved $1k from already called me up on sunday and said he needs his money back. plus side is I at least have a spare engine that i know runs and works and is reliable. (what my new engine was supposed to be....)
also on a plus side the deal i had made with the guy i made a little too sweet anyways. so it was a bittersweet transaction. now i am deciding what i am going to do as far as keep my aircooled engines tear them down to know what I have and rebuild my extra aircooled engine.
aside from that my husky is very happy that the snow is back.

I was wondering where you've been lately. Sounds like you're going through a rough patch. Hope it works out OK. Mind if I ask why the guy who bought your motor wants $ back?? Was it not what he thought it was? I know there was some question about it's size. That motor seemed pretty healthy...

Nah he still wanted it Money has just gotten very tight for him recently. I normally would say too bad on a deal this large. But with the guy being part of our armed forces I figured I would cut him a break. That and he agreed to me being able to pay back slowly every other week when I get my Pay Checks. yes a rough Patch is a mild way to put it. Still no contact from the guy with my car. going to call him tomorrow if he does not contact me by then. More just sucks as it was supposed to be my daily driver so right now my dad is graciously letting me borrow his truck (which hurts on my wallet at 10-12 MPG on Average)

But I am Starting to Get the Feeling that This whole thing is not going to End well. Graveshaker I am very Jealous of How well Your Engine is working for you!!!!
