And the new interior some from TMI, New wood wheel from Jbugs.
Just trying to spend some time on the body getting it ready to go to paint, Its going to be a drab olive green ( I think thats what we want)

Paint those fenders as soon as you can. They rust fast.

What floor pan is that? A lot of the brands are probably worse than what you have now since the metal is so thin (Zitto). The consensus on here seems to be Wolfsburg West are the absolute best. And the orange ones from CIP are tolerable.

I may just cut them and only use the Battery box and the rear of the driver side as the rust is so light and sparce.

It would be an awful shame to cut up good WW pans, they are as thick as original. If you are putting in the effort anyways might as well do the whole pan. That's just my humble opinion though.

Well that was my original thought as well, having go through the trouble of separating the body and chassis. Not cutting them is less work

This is probably a dumb question but how did you manage to hide your fuse box? Laughing My 73' Super would look a hell of a lot better if I didn't have all of the clutter.

The fuse box on a Super is inside under the dash. On a standard it is elsewhere! (In the front hood) There is a panel that most supers are missing that goes from the fusebox to under the dash to cover the wiring.

Hey, is that seat covered in "Saddle"?

It looks like my new TMI covers.

Yes they are "saddle" from TMI. The rears were cake fitting them, but I am having some trouble getting the fronts to fit correctly. The shoulder areas look like crap. Ill give it another go tomorrow.

Type1,

Wolfsburg West sells this felt kind of material to wrap around the edges of the front seats--like stock. I cut the material into 8-inch strips and spray glued them to the front and side edges of the bottoms of the front seats. Then I did the same to the front side edges of the backs. I had some foam stuff that was taped on the rear edges of the backs, so I didn't wrap that part.

You really have to turn the back covers inside out, except for the top--and, first, line the top with a plastic bag (so the TMI cover will slide down and be positioned easily).

There is also a YouTube Wolfsburg West video that shows you how to do the front seats. Just Google something like, "How to upholster seats in a VW bug". That should get you in the neighborhood.

I got the Saddle because the swatch in Jbug's catalog made it look a bit darker. But I ended up liking the color, so I installed them.

I also used new Wolfsburg West horsehair (coconut fiber/latex) seat pads.
