I know, I know. I went over the "How to post a photo" a bunch of times now. My forum post has like 7 edits on it with nothing changing. I have uploaded photos to the gallery from a mac, then I have tried with a PC, same results. I only get the "text" with no image. I thought maybe it was too big so I reduced it to 640 x 480, still no picture on my forum post. Can someone please help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

Hmmm.... I go into your gallery and click on the forum code box at the upper right of each photo (it turns blue for me), then copy that and paste it here and this happens:

I don't feel to bad about not being able to post photos. I too followed the instructions but oh well.

See what I mean?

You had "Disable BBCode in the post" checked.

I fixed it.

You also had it defaulted to Off in your profile, I turned it on.

For whatever reason, people turn this off sometimes. It basically should never be Off.

Don't mess with stuff in your profile if you don't know what it does... Smile

It's the [img] markings that make the image show up instead of just showing a raw link

Example (put in "code" marking so it shows everything instead of showing the actual photo:
Code:
[img]http://www.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/1248598.jpg[/img]

Everett, I suggest you add the BBCode info to your "How to Post Photos" thread.
