Nice selection, it would be great if they could be 3D printed full scale in fiberglass

The second 4-30-08 style looks like a cross between a Karmann Ghia and Shelby Cobra, with a short buggy wheel base. So very cool!

That one caught my eye too.

I looked at some of the others and I see a lot of cool ideas Mel.

The reason I call these thumbnail is because the original sketches are
only 2 1/2 inches long .they get bigger when I post them.. About the size of a Hot Wheel..

At the Bug-Out in Manassas one year there was a guy who had taken a Ghia convertible and turned it into a Cobra. It was red with white stripes and he had it in the show field. It was nice. He even had the oil cooler in the front grill opening. I have pictures of it somewhere but I have no idea where. This was in the mid 1990's. Back in the dark days before everybody had cell phones and digital cameras. Confused

Reminds me a bit of a TX Tripper, a Triumph TR6 based beast from the 70s...

I like the long front fenders which flow in to the rears, they were the best part of the Berry Mini-T which was always one of my favorites. The flat "T grill" and windshield on the Berry weren't very exciting though. Something like a Lakester grill and Mel's raked windshield would have been much better

Well at least the TX Tripper has a raked windshield, the design.. I think I'll past on that..

I was inspired by the Berry Mini-T, I's also one I favor.

I just wanted a different rear fender line to keep water spray down for anyone following behind.

The beetle back on yours is also cuter than the Mini-T pick-up box style tail end.

I also like the sloping front edge of your front fenders, it has an Auburn line

I find the third one down on the left side to be very interesting. That is a solid look.

Mel, did you know the Smithsonian is restoring your model and looking for help?

Yes they contacted me and we sent them some photos and negatives that Volmer Jensen took of the model when it was initially built in his workshop (Production models Shop). Of course these were photos taken in the pre-production stage before they added all the additional details that were added at later stages. Such as adding lights and several other details. They are attempting to return the appearance as close as possible to fly-by appearance that was seen in the first season. Anyway they were appreciative of what was given!

Also - I have some of these photos on my Facebook. Type in Melvin Keys on Facebook if interested. I'm the one from Sulphur Louisiana..

I checked it out, great photos! Is that a Victress in your back yard?

In the picture you're holding the Invaders saucer, is there something wrong with the little finger on your right hand? Wink
