I don't have them but they are out there all the time and sell well. We are in the antique world and see them a lot. If you sell them you have to be a bit "secret" about it. |

Yes, I would like to know about their sales for educational purposes, not to buy them. Not willing to pay for them at all. _________________ Wash your hands

It would be simple enough to make your own. A length of 1/2 inch round rod with a point on one end and some sheet metal fletching on the other.
Then you just need the neighbor's kids to lay in the yard! _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch! |

Throwing them is easy, catching them is hard.

How is survival of the fittest supposed to work if we keep doing away with stuff that eliminates stupid people?
Life was much better when there were cool prizes in the cereal box and Cracker Jacks box. Then a couple stupid kids croak from swallowing them and the rest of the kids have to suffer.
No wonder kids these days spend all their time playing video games. These poor kids will never know the joy of laying in the yard and shooting a bow and arrow up into the air and trying to get out of the way.
Lawn Darts taught valuable lessons on the importance of thinking about what you are doing and where you are standing. Taking them away has left brainless people to wander around and hurt themselves simply because they never learn those important life lessons of paying attention. _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch! |

I have a set still the box. A good friend's parents had a set and we would play at every barbeque at their place. There are two styles one had wings that could slide and spin one the metal rod, the other had fixed wings. |

I have a few sets...original "Jarts" and the Regent type with the sliding wings. if you're lucky...you can find sets at flea markets being sold by folks that don't do research for $10-$20 or you run into them being sold by other folks for $40-$80. _________________ AC/BC (Air Cooled/Breakfast Club)

We would have bb gun fights in the woods when I was a teenager. We'd wear extra clothes but it still hurt, and no eye protection. Sooo dumb. Just a little later they came out with "gotcha guns". They hurt less but we're less fun too. Not enough range.
Anyway lawn darts were fun too. Also the old real metal Tonka trucks that dad could borrow if he couldn't find the sledge hammer. Toys suck these days. |
