That's Dr. Porsche's Reich Motor Club membership. It's hardly the Beetle's birth certificate, as boasted in the description, but still interesting. _________________ We are striving for perfection, to make our cars run forever, if possible.

Strange how there's remnants of a signature along the bottom of the ID picture but they aren't from the certificate itself. _________________ Central Jersey VW Society

If I were buying this, I would want some questions answered, like the signature at the bottom of the photo as previously pointed out.
Also, Why the 2 different stamps on the card, one half on the photo which does not have the old gothic style font, and the other at the bottom of that page.
Surely they would have been the same, or at least similar in style????
Is there any history to this card? Where did the seller get it from? _________________ ( ⫏ ⫐ )

Why does the photo look like a publicity/press release photo? Wouldn't a ID photo be a looking straight at the camera? |

Also if they were using his correct title would it be simply "Dr. Ferdinand Porsche" or would it be "Dr.-Ing. h. c. Ferdinand Porsche", a title he had carried since at least 1924? _________________ Central Jersey VW Society

YES, I must agree with the comments that the signature under the photo does not connect directly into the photo itself.
Therefore, it's authenticity is most certainly suspicious and questionable ??
Here is a quality reproduction of a KdF Sparkarte produced about 20 years ago and is often sold as original and usually
gets the big $$$ because it has those seldom found 4 RM stamps !!
It is amazing what is out there as original or fake

To all of the doubters. A forensic hand writing expert spent 2 hours with electronic microscope studying this piece. Confirmed it is REAL. Will be in Museum in the US soon. |

I still do not believe it is authentic and feel bad for the museum who purchased it. _________________ The problem with reality is that there's no background music !

What did he confirm was real? Just the signature? The entire document? The 1937 photo? _________________ ( ⫏ ⫐ )

OK, so there is this original (?) NSKK document from Dr. Porsche with dates of 1933 and 1936
Now what shows up is a photo dated 1937 that shows Dr. Porsche and what appears to be a bad crop job
from this photo and the same croped image appearing in the NSKK document.
So is there an expalnation of how and why this can be in the original (?) KSKK document

Well, on the good side of all of this thread . . .
If the original (?) Dr. Porsche NSKK document gets lost or stolen at that museum in the US . . .
I will be able to make another copy of the document with my Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 Ultimate . . . _________________ Hacksaw BoB

One bidder........... That's your red flag.
Typical of the way fake Nazi material is outed:
Pictures will now appear on various web sites and show up on Google Images. A year or so down the road this item will appear at a military show like the SOS or MAX with pictures from the web sites and "quoted" discussions by "experts" that are totally out of context; also adding the information about the previous "museum" ownership. Several other original Porsche items will be presented with it and a "package" deal will be put together by a unscrupulous dealer and it will be sold again for "real" money this time. It's an old story.
BTW..........I have a "museum" and you do too. _________________ "What a fool believes he sees, no wise man has the power to reason away." Dobee, Dobee, Do |

I like that everyone one this website is an expert on this document. This document was found in the attic in a house in Cleveland oh. I know this because I was there. I know who it belonged to and I know the history of that person. I personally had an electronic copy of this sent to VS and Porsche. The document is real!!!!
It's fake because of one bidder.... really? 53 Oval probably lived in his mom's basement and drives a Yogo.
Sorry for the hate but all of you don't have a clue on if it is real or not. |
