We are losing hubcaps off the rear of our 67. We have the correct 67 style wheels so we do not have/use the clips everyone complains about (searching hubcaps falling off brings hundreds of hits about broken/bad/crappy clips). Our caps are the aftermarket thin ones, but they have no problem staying on the front, so I'm not too quick to jump to the conclusion that "aftermarket parts are crap" as the reason. Does anybody with any real world experience have any thoughts, advice or suggestions? Thank you in advance. |

Thanks, I will look into bending out the lip on ours. I wish good used originals were not so hard to come by these days.
Wolfsburg West won't be selling any to me at that price! A set of those would almost double the value of our car! |

My original late (4-lug) caps are a little loose... I grab them at the rim and rotate them to find a tight spot. Maybe yours are out of round, too, and trying a different position might make them more snug. |
