My 72 needs a lot of love. i need distrbutor cap and rotor, a new carb, gerorator/alternator for starters. i could use a lot of other stuff but those are the main components that i need ASAP. any suggestions on where to get reliable parts? im also on a small island off puerto rico so shipping can be an issue. this is my first rebuild and im a bit nervous, cant lie haha.

thanks for all your help

I understand your logistics. Look for item in classifieds and search parting out. If lucky maybe someone could bundle items for you.

PR is still USA, even in small town can't AutoZone, O'Reilly, NAPA online get such parts, not exactly hard to find.

US mail is often cheapest way to get stuff to PR, FedEx Ground delivers wet parts. OK, that's a joke, but my guess is that parts will just require extra shipping fee.
